The amazing Athenians

Did you know that Athens is the capital of Greece? Or that most of Rome was based on Greece? Well, I can relate to not knowing that everyone is always talking about Rome, Rome, Rome. Well, Greece is the place where all the architecture came from, and all of that architecture probably came from the Athenians the great Conquerers of the mighty Spartan empire, and frankly, most of the Roman’s religious beliefs came from Greece, like Jupiter is Zeus and Juno is Hera.

The strength of the Spartans

The Spartans were probably the toughest civilization in all of history! Their military was trained since they were born, did you know that 300 Spartans once held off an army of millions of Persians only one man left to tell the tale. They won the first war against the amazing Athenians but lost the second war because the Athenians used a strategy using bows and arrows they invented. Now Sparta is a pretty good site for travelers and tourists.

The terrific tales of the Thebes.

The Thebans were always known for their great walled city, it started with the tale of Europa and Zeus where Zeus fell in love with Europa and turned into a white cow, and tricked Europa into going back to Greece and she became queen of Crete and had three sons, one of them was king Minos of Crete. When the king of that place noticed his daughter was missing he sent his sons to go and find him all of them came back without her but one of them did not give up and kept searching until Athena told him to build a city but he could not build a city all by himself he needed help so Athena said plow the soil one man will spring forth he did so and tons of mighty warriors came from the soil. But he was scared of all these warriors so Athena told him to throw a rock and he did all the warriors started fighting over who threw the rock until there were only three people left all badly wounded he nursed them and together they made Thebes.
