Dogs are amazing creatures with incredible unconditional love. They vary from big to small, light to heavy, well trained to wild, weak to strong, and productive to lazy. Throughout all of these different personalities they are always considered man’s best friend.
Dogs association with humans began when we trained them to hunt. A lot has happened since then as dogs have went from wolves to poodles. Our loved domesticated dogs’ ancestors were probably a runt of a runt. Although dogs were originally only kept around at first for hunting, after a while, dogs grew on us.
Who is more in control, dogs or humans? Dogs usually don’t have jobs, sleep most of the day, eat and sleep for free, and walk in front when you take them for a walk. Humans pay taxes, (sometimes) pay for rent, pay for food, don’t sleep much, go to work every day, and walk behind dogs when they take them for walks. Who’s in charge?
Now, who is smarter, dogs or humans? Dogs are in control, they socialize at young ages, learn tricks at young ages, and do all of this without an education or understanding what humans say to them. Humans spend 17 years in school, aren’t in control, procrastinate, destroy and pollute the environment, don’t do what their told, and aren’t as social as dogs. Who do you think is smarter?
In conclusion, dogs are cute and kind creatures that surprisingly have a valid argument for being both smarter and in control. Dogs are man’s best friend and have been domesticated from wolves to poodles.
